“WAKE UP!” Goals: To articulate the voice of the citizens of Skopje for their needs and expectations through advancement and promotion of their political, economical and social awareness in the society. Promotion of cultural values and activities of the citizens of Skopje. To contribute in the educational process of students and citizens of Skopje, through promoting education values and at the same time present the values of “Wake Up!”” before foreign movements. To represent a forum of promoting ideas, expert discussions and exchanging opinions for its members. To support the promotion of new ideas in the professional and public opinion in accordance with the interests of “Wake Up!”. To positively influence in increasing the awareness and the advancement of the political culture of the citizens of Skopje. To influence the establishment and advancement of a civil society in the city of Skopje. To contribute, in cooperation with all interested parties, in reviving the trade and cultural life in the Old City – Skopje. To contribute in promoting cultural values, through cooperation with theatre institutions, cultural, artistic, sport associations, etc. Active support for associations and sport clubs in order to inspire the youth to actively engage in sports and support clubs and sport activities. To contribute in the campaign against negative occurrences in the society such as narcotics, alcoholism, trafficking in human beings, prostitution, discrimination on different grounds, etc. Raising awareness for protecting the environment and ecology. To engage for equal development and approach towards all the municipalities of the city of Skopje as well as cooperation and communication between the municipalities. The abovementioned goals as well as others, arising from the daily activities of “Wake Up!”” through contacts with the members and the citizens of Skopje are just a part of the goals of “Wake Up!”” for positive promotion of the goals for an awareness of younger generations in order to concentrate their attention towards developing a civil society, promoting the necessity of education, sport, culture, etc, in the city they live and act.
