On behalf of Civic Movement Wake Up! Skopje I would like to present my appreciation for the opportunity to meet H.E. Mr Horst Köhler, President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mme Eva Luise Köhler and the German delegation during their official visit to the Republic of Macedonia. I enjoyed meeting President Köhler and the delegation and I welcomed the opportunity to present the views of Wake Up! before a highly respectable audience on key issues for our society. Our conversations confirmed the interest of your country in the developments in Macedonia. Therefore, I would like to reaffirm our dedication and desire to continue working together with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Skopje.
As we discussed, a well structured and influential civil society is crucial for the development of the democratic processes in the country and for ensuring accountability of the politics before the citizens. Wake Up! embraces the principles of democratic and Euro Atlantic values and is strongly dedicated to further promote the European spirit with its followers and the society. Again, thank you for the opportunity and I remain at your disposal as well to the members of delegation upon their future visits.
Yours truly,
Artan Grubi,
President
