Kale fortress excavations

Dear guests,

Wake Up! announces the possibility of organizing protests against the failure to engage Albanian experts in the excavations of the Kale fortress, which are due to start on 10 March 2007. If the protest is to be held, that would be a warning for the organizor of the excavation, Mr Pasko Kuzman, to include Albanian experts from Kosovo and/or Albania due to the fact that there is no experienced archeologists in Macedonia.

One year ago, the Ministries of Culture of Macedonia and Kosovo signed a memorandum of understanding, which foresees the cooperation of experts from both countries. Macedonian experts already participated in the excavations in Ulpiana, Kosovo, whereas Kosovo experts were part of the works in Skupi. This fact shows that there is no obstacle for the participation of Kosovo experts in the Kale operation.

People are illogical, unreasonable, and self-centered.
Love them anyway.
If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Do good anyway.

If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies.
Succeed anyway.
The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.
