Wake Up! calls for vigilance
Wake Up severely condemns the violence rhetoric used in the Parliament of Macedonia by the Members of the Parliament. We request the MPs not to place the party interests over the dignity of the people that they represent. The vocabulary, full of violence, almost loses all hope for a peaceful and secure future. It is even more alarming when the ones referring to violence are precisely the ones who bear the greatest responsibility in advancing the stability and raise the quality of life.
We request the MPS to wake up and let this be only a bad dream! |

It's a great pleasure to warmly welcome the non-governmental organisation "Wake Up". This organisation is an inspiring example of citizens coming together to promote tolerance and a greater civic spirit among the people of Skopje. The message of rejection of violence and promotion of social justice is one which must reverberate across the land from community to community, from house to house.
"Wake Up" is about dialogue, about creating a climate of trust between and within the many communities of this diverse city. |

Civic Movement "Wake Up!" Skopje welcomes the start of the electoral campaign for the general elections in the Republic of Macedonia, which are the most important test of our society towards the European Union and NATO. General elections of 5 July confirm the democratic maturity of the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia and reconfirm our aspirations for Euro-Atlantic integrations.

Civic Movement Wake Up! SKopje is convinced that the citizens and political parties have the required will and capacity to conduct elections in accordance with international standards.
WAKE UP! Skopje asks all citizens of the Republic of Macedonia to use their invulnerable democratic right to vote, respecting the principle of one vote per one person.
Civic movement Wake Up! invites all the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia and the political parties to engage for a correct, peaceful and democratic conduct of the electoral campaign and general elections in the country and to seal our path towards United Europe and NATO in a dignified manner.
